Similarly, on very cold winter days, the natural gas supply gets stretched thin during periods of peak demand, and local or regional capacity challenges can also occur. By participating in an Energy Savings Event, you can help prevent the need to turn on additional, more expensive, and less environmentally-friendly resources, and keep energy reliable and affordable for the whole community.
